A Medway resident has written a poem to coincide with this year’s Poppy Appeal.

The protestor who vandalised Poppy Appeal posters has apologised for causing offence, but defended their actions.
In an anonymous email to Medway’s newspapers, the perpetrator said that they had not meant ‘to dishonour anyone, Blair excluded’, but went on to say that they ‘don’t consider rewording the poster to be an act of vandalism’.
